Another new poem by Paul Papasavas. - poetheart 05/03/03
The start, often the most painful,
Is still the foundation for the majestic and the marvelous.
This most difficult point, right before nothingness,
Is still like the morning rays that awaken the dark sky.We look at that moment with marvel
And attempt to articulate our feats to ourselves,
But first we have to deal with the vacancy.Towering above is a world built by hand
And started from a simple thought.
But with the realization of hope and conviction
It came to be out of nothingnessThe disbelievers will continue embracing
Works undone and pillars still of sand.
They will mire the landscape with falsehoods
And pretend movement cannibalizes unto itself.A moment is all that is left as someone
Seizes the eternal past and ties it
Into a knot and into the void it once was.
Heroes undiscovered and perishable ideas
Held steadfast by one person on Journey.by Paul Papasavas
