"Enter and leave the world knowing nothing"

I find this poem to be Paul's most memorable to date.  - poetheart 12/28/01

Quite often, I stop talking...
And start listening
But not the spoken words...
The words I never really heard
Throughout the day
The tales and the lives
And the stories
And the lessons
The small little lady sitting
On the sidewalk
And the person standing next to Me
For if my foolishness allows
Me to believe they have nothing
To teach me, then "I"
Am a failure as a student and a teacher
For my mind, eyes, and ears
Are open to continue realizing
How much I don't know about this world...
And either way, I will depart this
World knowing almost nothing
