Paul's most recent poem is noticeably different in two ways: line formation and his use of rhyme. I think this is well written. - poetheart 05/13/02
What good will come from these words I say
The meaning derived from the ideas I pray
What will you find when you hear your heart
You'll find a melody and giving for a start
You'll extend your hand to help the other soul
You'll think of the memories and will realize your role
But perhaps you'll never realize the true meaning of your good deeds
Sometimes we never know how much we help others in need
Don't do something to get something in return
Do it because you love others…be kind and not stern
Turn your head and look at who's really around
And keep smiling, but please never frown
The goodness is you, it's the person you are
The lessons learned, no matter how far
This life is here for a few moments, my son
Make every second worth it, don't give up even one
You can make a difference in the world that you see
Your heart, your mind, your soul, set them free…
