Paul's new poem submitted recently... - poetheart 04/20/03
This is to say
My fears have gone astray
My callous enemy
Has laid to rest
His tanks and guns
And eager zest
He promulgates only fear abroad
But in recluse
He’s really a fraud
His zealousness is a trait
Perhaps good from some
But, ultimately the bait
The heavens look down with disdain
The people can now rid their pain
Rebuilding abode near and far
Hoping their lives will be on par
“O majesty” I will no longer say
For you have always made our country pay
Your wrath is over … and over at last
Our memories of you will remain in the past
