"Recluse"

Paul's most recent submission...Have you ever been here?  - poetheart 04/28/03

There’s a place called courage
Where our doubts are left behind
A single moment with ourselves
Reveals the sediment of lies

But the truth behold
The magnificence of our word
And the realization of haughty ideals
Boasting to none other than ourselves

The finality of it all
Ends at the precipice of our nerve
These tangential things stay aside
As the trueness of our faith survives

Another night in recluse

Thinking all alone
Preaching to the silhouettes
To hide their faces

Clarity never undone
In a world made of truths
And only a moment to spare
So as to remain featureless and whole
