Paul's new poem received last week. - poetheart 06/21/03
A smile is all I ask right now
Your frowns, I will not allow.
What is really wrong, please say
Or shall I tell you, if I may.
The seeds of spring have bared no flowers
Our mighty God with all his powers
Has kept their brilliance in hiding for the day
So I can read you this little poem, if I may.
The rain that falls can be sad
But It’s soaked and spread and is usually not bad
Because those flowers that you have yet to see
Are on their way, I promise thee.
So this problem you’ve said you had
Is it really all that bad?
The gray is definitely heading away,
As I share these final words today.
