Most people will try something
And give up if they don’t see a result
The winners, though, are the ones
We think are losing
All by themselves
Dredging what seems to be
The bottomless pit
But if you look closely enough
You won’t see a frown
Because they know that
Although they often can’t
See or smell the fruits,
Their faith keeps directing them
To a place that will be
It’s the journey into the
Dark, with little or no guidance
With risks and rewards
And the lonely soul with
Solo footprints in the sand
Knowing there is something out there
While the rest remain at home
With what they know they have
